Indeed you would have to tune the engine, only v6 tuner is trifecta right now, to get past the speed limiter. The only thing is, the limiter is there because the of the tire rating. So if you are going to tune out the limiter make sure you upgrade your tires to a speed rating that can handle the 155. The limiter is there for your safety.
