Good find. That's a nice write-up.
I wonder, though, if the comment about the engineers running out of money on the rest of the dash after the gauges is accurate though. After reading about the details of this in the 5th. Gen. book, it seems like this design was deliberate; in it's simplicity. I, personally, haven't seen anything wrong with the way it was done; maybe the 'Stang has more character, but it's busier. That's not a bad thing; as long as the materials and fit-and-finish are up to snuff, I don't think I'll have a problem with the interior.
