A manufacturer generally doesn't comment on QC holds because of the uncertainties that exist until the issue has been resolved and the hold is released, and because if details regarding the hold are released, then customers may want to have their vehicle "corrected" even if it was not one of the vehicles where the hold issue was present.
What type of updated status information would you hope to receive that wouldn't include dates or specifics?
