I got a new tonneau cover a couple months after the water bag replacement when I brought it in for the top replacement. The tonneau cover started to delaminate like a lot of them do. I highly recommend you start using yours in the hot sun for two reasons; 1) to discover if yours is defective. 2) to keep your top from flapping in the wind (hot sun or not).
