I have a 2015 ZL1. I had the same issue. Wanted something there for occasional track days. I ended up buying the (what I believe was the GT4 tow hook--whatever they called the 'L" type bracket) and drilled holes in stock crash bar to mount it. I bought the black one. It pokes out through the opening in stock ZL1 lower grill. Obviously it's not temporary, but not overly noticeable if that is a concern. I can't attest to durability as I haven't had to use it yet.
