What are these cables duct taped in the trunk lid, and will those really be there? They are ugly. They usually have some panel for the inside of the lid, so your stuff does not rub against the metal and paint inside and it hides the cables like the emergency trunk release which I believe is that yellow thing hanging in the middle.

The one to the center (actual duct tape) is a jury-rigged one to pull the emergency truck release handle when the car's battery is disconnected, like at an auto show
The black cable is production, unfortunately. I'm not a fan of it going through the opening like that, but its not that big of a deal. I'm not positive, but it likely is the electronic trunk release.
