Im supposed to be getting a tie rod replaced, now I suppose that I'll have to test it after the new one is in. But if you already dont trust the work from the people doing it, how do you know they even replaced the part in question?
So asking to see the old one after the new one is in is the only way right?

Gotta do what you gotta do I suppose. They said theyd do it under warranty which is nice, but if it doesnt work they they have to use some laser fram machine to find the problem. Which im sure is gonna cost an arm and a leg.
I think by law they are required to return the old parts to you if you request them. As these parts still belong to you and are your property. Just make sure before you get the work started that you tell them you need them back.
