I've been seeing rumors of SRT releasing a supercharged Viper to move it back on top of the line up. I get that they would want the Viper to be back on top of the pyramid but with the lack of sales, a supercharged Viper doesn't make sense.

They should just ditch the Viper entirely. Maybe bring it back as a low production mid-engined supercar like Ford did with the GT. Or bring it back as a more reasonably priced sports car more comparable to the base Vette. The two can co-exist the same way Camaro and Vette can get along. The whole $120K Viper thing isn't working, regardless of whether it has 650 or 800 HP.
