Question about your 9" kit, and also indirectly about all other non-stock differentials.
Does an after-market diff eliminate the stock driveline "clunk"?
I figure if GM insists on saying the clunk is normal, that means it was intentionally designed in, and they know what causes it. Why won't they tell us?
Is it too much ring & pinion backlash, spider gear slop, axle spline slop, posi slop or what?
Does you differential eliminate the clunk?
