GT500 are one hell of a car... pulley tune bolt ons and you're looking at almost 600rwhp. Any camaro with 600+rwhp is on borrowed time with stock internals and rear end.

I looked at buying a gt500 at first, when I went to the ford dealership I found a red one that I really liked. MSRP was 44000 roughly, then I saw this +20000.00 market adjustment crap. So that put the gt 500 around 70000 out the door and the dealership would only come down 3000.00.
I got my camaro for 36000, out the door!! then invested 17000.00 in the motor, trans and rear. totaling 53000.00. I think I came out ahead on this one!! faster car and i saved roughly 17000.00.
this was in july 2010.... Idk if the dealerships have stopped ripping off customer with this market adjustment value crap yet or not.
