ciandrew - This is my first experience with the MS-8. After reading copious reviews of the DQX, Bit-1 and MS-8 as well as discussion with folks with experience with these units it came down to the auto set-up option of the MS-8. This along with the interface and center channel features of the MS-8. I know some folks object to the MS-8's "canned" slopes but I think I can tweak this via the Audison's tuning capability. Also I rather spend 8 hours fine tuning versus 40 hrs or more dialing in the system.
I can always change it if it doesn't meet my expectations.
