I am now in Indianapolis - a day earlier than expected...

I left Santee (San Diego County) on Sunday, July 29.
Just before I got to Flagstaff, Arizona, I encountered a real heavy short period of rain. It rained so hard, I could not see what was ahead of me.
At the end of the first day, I made it to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Checked in at Quality Suites (nothing "quality" about that particular place).
First day total miles driven: 850 / Total time: 12 hours, 36 minutes (includes gas stops and meal breaks)

On the second day, I left New Mexico made it all the way to Independence Missouri.
Checked in at Holiday Inn Express (much nicer).
Second day total miles driven: 799 / Total time: 12 hours, 39 minutes (includes gas stops and meal breaks)

This morning, I left Missouri and arrived in Indianapolis.
Outside of Terre Haute, I got caught in a real heavy thunder storm (thankfully no hail) which washed all of the bugs from the front of my car!
Upon arriving at the host hotel, I waved to a guy in a silver ZL1 (could have been a moderator? I was in the 2010 ABM as you were pulling out of the lobby area) and checked in (much, much nicer).
Third day total miles driven: 476 / Total time: 7 hours, 30 minutes (includes gas stop and meal break)

Total trip miles driven: 2125; total driving time 32 hours, 45 minutes.
