Dont know how ANYONE could pick the R/T over a GT. The GT is faster, outhandles the R/T, lighter, better aftermarket, better interior design/quality, yadda yadda yadda...

The R/T 6-spd has more power than the automatic and can be much lighter than the SRT8 if you opt for the 27F package, and it's over $10,000 less. I can't understand why anyone would buy the SRT8.
The R/T looks so much better than the GT, you're correct on your other points
