LOL. Ive had them on pretty much every fbody Ive owned and never once had any issues with it. Never had higher temps or lights that dim at low rpms. Do you really think your alternator/waterpump are going to notice any difference at anything but idle. Even then theres still that pesky thermostat that stops water flow until its at the right temp. So no, higher temps is b.s.
