LS7 427 in a Gen-6 Camaro, as per OP? No.

What will a Gen-6 ultra-performance Camaro debut with, for '16? It may not arrive till '17, just as the GT 350 is delayed a year. As for power, if the LT4 is good enough for the Z06, it would probably work very well in a ZL1 or Z/28. Some rumors have the Z/28 being essentially an R-version of the ZL1.

If, as rumored, the GT350 arrives with 550 hp n/a in a weight-reduced Mustang, it's going to take a heavily revised LT1 to get to that number (n/a). Or, defer to the already-on the-shelf LT4 and show the tail lights to the Mustangs.

As for a COPO-type version of Z/28, I have one question: Why? Price points for hand-built cars built in tiny numbers do not get them into the hands of the majority of people who really want to own-drive such a car.
