Perhaps the Impala and Camaro will be sharing engines, but I doubt it'll go on the same platform. Unless they made a name change, the FWD Impala is reportedly too far along in development to make such a drastic change to RWD.
Now there supposedly is a RWD sedan coming to Chevrolet in the form of the Holden Commodore in the near future.
