As to the excuse (argument) of being enviromentally friendly, which I have studied, the earth has been an ice covered rock all the way to the equator, to having subtropical conditions at the poles with critters running around there. Last ~15k years, there has been extremely mild conditions prevalent here.
Be forewarned, these "ideal conditions" will definitely not last, so any arguments along the lines of "eco-friendly" simply are based on fallacy and are extremely short sighted.
So I'm in favor of using as many cylinders as the owner wants---V12's anyone??!!
