Depends on the turbo and boost controller. Turbo has the easiest boost control and you can make 450rwhp to 30mph, then 550 to 45mph, then 650-700 from 65+ or setup a boost controller for whatever you want. That is much easier to hook than full 600+ all the time. So saying front mount (centri?) is easier to hook is a bit too simple of a statement. You could have a turbo act just like a centri if you wanted with a boost controller.
