On GM Performance Parts there is the LS376/480, which is basically a cammed LS3 and it produces 480 hp/475 lb-ft of torque and comes with a 2 year warranty. I want the best LS3 rather than an LS7 that is not as good as it should be. Imagine the idle if that engine came stock...and look at that torque curve!!!

RPM - LS376/480 vs. LS7
2000 - 100 vs 120
3000 - 240 vs 225
4000 - 370 vs. 320
5000 - 450 vs. 430
6000 - 480 vs. 500
Average - 328 vs. 319
Of course if they don't detune the LS7 its the engine I would want...but what are the chances of that?
