I bought my kiddo a 2010 v6 camaro almost a year ago when she got her permit and its lacking a few things she feels like she needs, but more importantly I feel like she needs. I have gone through a ton of threads that have helped me narrow a few things down (or so I think), but I would greatly appreciate any input positive or negative you have been through on a few items.

I like the look of the idatalink KIT-CAM1 because it looks factory(ish) and loses the big knobs for ac/heat. Is there any negatives that people have experienced with this setup?

It seems I will need the Maestro RR? I have seen threads mentioning RR2 but when I put in make/model/year it only shows me the RR. what am I messing up?

front and rear cameras - I see a ton of posts saying what they have bought, or where they mount, but what about night time viewing and overall clarity? any suggestions or experience would be greatly appreciated.

head units....I will do my best not to open this can of worms because I know it is very much a personal opinion. I will at least explain my needs/concerns so that you can help me narrow it down:

needs:
Bluetooth
hands free ease if my daughters phone rings
smooth and quick sensitivity on radio touch screen
plug ins for forward and rear cameras
reliable ( I dont have to have the latest and greatest if it requires recalibrating or issues that has my kiddo complaining to me haha.


there is a ton of experience here and i would truly appreciate it if you could help me get this setup right the first time for my daughter.
