There's a big, big difference between "there's a microphone built into my car" and "somebody wants to eavesdrop on me." OnStar does not want to eavesdrop on you. They do not care what you're doing in your car unless you need directions or an ambulance. Unless you're such a high-value intelligence target that foreign agencies are going to try to hack your cars' wireless signals to spy on you (and if you're this public about not wanting to be listened to, you're definitely NOT a high-value intelligence target), then no one will ever, ever misuse the OnStar microphone.
