Totally understand that they wouldn't normally test race cars on the street, but they did test the Camaro ZL1 1LE on the street. That car is the basis of the GT4 Camaro so something similar may be happening here. But, we only see the street car.
Watch the videos from Laguna Seca if you haven't. Don't think the ZR1 will have a supercharger. No whine from the Corvettes in the video but you can clearly hear it on the Camaro ZL1 1LE.
Just noticed the big wing cars from that video have exhaust tips that angle towards the drivers side of the car out the back. Kind of weird
