Since Scott Settlemire retired, it appears the Camaro focus groups have been disbanded. Scott was an active, ardent, and vocal marketing force for the Camaro. His retirement left a void that no one has stepped forward and filled. I don't think anyone in the engineering departments of GM truly has a passion for cars and performance; they apparent focus is "bottom line profits" and they forget how to achieve market share through public excitement with a product. Sometimes I yearn for the marketing days of the mid-60s and early-70s!
