It would be about a bottle every 1/4 mile pass. Would still be some left after that but not enough to make another good pass so it's pretty much one run per bottle. Which would get extremely expensive, thats the main reason I'll go with boost before ever going to a huge nitrous shot. 200 is the max I'll ever do.

I'd imagine the OP is well aware that his drivetrain will need to be upgraded. He specifically asked about the bottom end. Though some head studs should definitely be on his list as well. I'd have no concerns running a progressive 250 shot regularly with the proper supporting components (head studs, fuel system, drivetrain upgrades, ect.). And from there I'd feel comfortable pilling it for a 300 every now and then if ever needed to get the edge on someone but would stay at 250 most of the time.
