Well you should expect a loss of power as the AC is on, and hot air reduce the power of any intake too.
We have a harsh weather here in the gulf

In Oman the heat records boomed last year up to 58c degree day time and 40 at Mid night
.
Im sure that such records match in U.A.E, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait too.
