This is an opinion. But it's a waste of money to build an engine and only go for 600whp. Especially with a centrifugal. The ls3 is a stout engine. Good tune an ls3 should live long at only 600whp. So I pick ls3 with a centri. D1 won't have very strong powerband at such a low power. S trim will save money and get the job done. Also Ecs t trim is great with the restrictor plate. (Leads to a very strong power band in the 600 range) once again just an opinion. Good luck with the build.
