LS7 is lighter, and might cost less? Cut out possible GG tax, lighten the front up, pedders suspension with better tires and higher than bottom shelf brembo brakes.
Could be a track monster right from the dealer and not be as high of a premium.

you can't buy a crate LS7. I think you could buy a crate 427 which was similar, but not an LS7.
