Sorry to hear about that.
Non-Factory paint is very different. It has to out-gas. You need to wait at least a month or two.
Also, be VERY careful with the paint for a couple of months. It will be soft and scratch easily.
If you feel like you need to rub her down with something, you can always use 3M Hand Glaze.
