On EFI Live, you buy the license one time per vehicle you want to tune, unless they are in the same tuning category as john mentioned above (with being able to tune it as many times you wish). Bar maps are free... but I've heard a lot of people say the EFI Live is basically the best tuner you can get for any GM vehicle.
