Yeah, it's got 55 more horsepower but it's also got about 500-lbs more to carry and it's got worse areo.
Once the C7 Z51 is available it would be really interesting to test it against the Z/28.

And that's assuming "more than 450 HP" doesnt' really mean 470. Of course the LS7 could make more in the Camaro as well.
So in the end it's just good conversation.
