Its the downside to lowering...giving up suspension travel, and bringing the bottom of the car closer to the ground. Lowering you Camaro 1" shouldn't have made it that bad...maybe it is lower than the aftermarket springs said they would do. Go to the dealer and measure a new one, front and rear, then measure yours at the same place, top dead center of each side wheel well. See what that difference is.
