Grab some 3M Rubberized Undercoating in a spray can, tape them off, scuff the surface with sandpaper, and spray the inside area of the guards. Done it many times to other vehicles, just got mine in from eBay (Freedom Chevrolet) and they are factory painted to match the RJT Camaro LT my wife has. On my SS, they look really weird on the back since the stock tire size is rather fat in comparison - they actually look crooked, not straight. So my SS will go without....

I got mine from gmpartsdirect after about a week and a half, roughly 6 to 7 business days. They were painted black to match my car.

My dealer charged $80 to install, which I opted for since I wanted the holes drilled for extra stability but I don't feel confident drilling into my car. I would have to say that the screws may help, since the 3M tape is rather weak.
