Ok, the front seats in my 78 camaro were trashed, so I bought a set of front seats from a 95 camaro. Now that I have gotten them and had a chance to test fit them, I noticed that the holes in the seats and the holes in the floor did not line up. I have tryed switching the seat rails with the origional ones from the old seats and the did not match. Does annyone know how i can mount them without having to drill into my floor? Thanks!

I would've gone aftermarket to get the complete set of rails and seats. Regardless, there will likely be some drilling required. This is a great opportunity for a seat replacement instructional thread.

ok ya, i dident think about going aftermarket. i was thinking bout getting some steel strap or sompthing and fabbing up a set of adapters for them.

I put 96 seats in my 68 and just fabbed up brackets for the back two mounts per seat. The fronts lined up just fine.
I had to do the same thing when I put Bonneville seats in my 95 Caprice.

Best run to date is 13.570 @ 103spinning for the first 100'.
