I woke the next morning just as the sun was coming up, put the top down and became familiar with a 5th gen short throw shifter on an SS/RS, 6MT car. What a rush that was.

I have owned and driven dozens of fun cars in my life, but that moment, at that time, is unequaled in terms of memorable automotive experiences. A very close second would be when I drove the 2002 Chevy Cosworth Indy Car on the Las Vegas NASCAR Speedway.
