TrackSpec T1 Hood Louvers.

I have wanted to install these on a used hood for the summer track season.
Been on a hunt for an used hood local to me so I didn't pay for freight shipping and I finally found a hood local to me for a stupid good deal: $50!
Ordered the T1 louver set which includes their new side vents.
The side vents are so new, they didn't include any instructions on placement. Did not find anything online or any pictures on them either.
I had to call them up to ask about placement and the sales guy told me the engineering team installed them on a company 5th gen and the next day one of the company sold it off before they could get final measurements on placement...

Here are a series of pictures so if anyone here wants to add them, there is some references!
There is some minor finish work I need to do (adding some rubber edging on the hood reinforcement edges), but they are in and I am super happy with how they look.
I did try to wrap the hood matte black before I installed the louvers, but I only had 2 sheets of 3M 1080 Matte vinyl left in my shop large enough to cover the hood but it was quite old and did not apply very well.
An expert could have got it to work, but I am not that.

Those turned out GREAT!👍 Should let out plenty of heat and help with front end stability on track. Lines up well with your mail slot too.

Oh wow brother!! That turned out really nice!! I bet she stays pretty cool now under there. Back when I had my stock hood with the HEX VENTS installed, boy did it let out a ton of heat, plus it really helped with the air not piling up under the hood and floating the front end at speeds above 140... Experienced that a few times before the vent install. Wasnt a good feeling either. Nicely done sir..

I want a nice louder set but I already have a hole in my hood for the OEM vent.

Thank you!
The engine stays around 180-185* at idle in traffic purely because the hot air can escape, allowing convection to work.
High speed stability was another reason I wanted to get these put on.
I regularly hit the track this time of year and they have made a big improvement in keeping the front feeling more planted/less floaty at the end of some long straights.

You can buy the side vents separately, but aligning them would be more of a chore.
