LSA Engine Cover - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello all,

Newly acquired ZL1. I noticed that the silver "SUPERCHARGED" and "LSA" lettering has faded off off the engine cover and gone to red.

Anyone seen this before? Any tips or ideas on how to restore it to original look? I searched the forums and came up empty.

mines the same way. just toss it in the basement, it just holds heat in.

^^^ Yep, this.. But if you want to "color" them, you could put some painters tape over them, cut out the lettering with a sharp x-acto knife, then tape off the rest of the cover so you don't get any paint on it, and paint away!!

They all fade away eventually. Same with the Z/28 engine covers. You can buy custom ones that are pretty cool or just do what the others have said. Take it off and forget it.
