Who Knows 2013 Boston Acoustics Sound Systems???

HELP!!! I took out the stock radio in my 2013 Camaro and replaced it with a Kenwood DMX908S. The problem is that the volume is about 35% lower than the stock radio. I would assume that with 50 watts from the new head unit and hooking it into the Boston Acoustics amp, I would get more volume, not less! Anyone with some guidance or ideas?

Sounds like you have an impedance mismatch on the BA acoustic amp input. Maybe you can help me. What wire did you use to remotely turn on the amp from the headend?

The BA system is (like most OE car stereos) a pain to add or remove from ... I usually try to change everything.

Years ago on my 2014 Camaro, I used FARK harness and left the OE head unit and changed everything else, even rewired it, worked well.
