Thumbs up THANK YOU BBOMG & GM

I just want to say a big and appreciative THANK YOU to ALL the organizers of the BBOMG TEAM for all their hard work to bring everyone together for another great time.

I also want to thank GM for putting on a great "CAMARO HOMECOMING" event, the number of cars that attended from all four corners of this great continent, shows the graditude we owners have.

I also want to thank, on behalf of Ontarians, for all our members who travelled great lengths to attend this event, hope you ALL had a great time .

I had a great opportunity to get together with past members, and meet new ones; it's always great to put a face to a name.
Special mentions on my part go out to Donna, Keith, Brian, Jimmy who came up from New York & New Jersey. I hope you all had a great time, and I enjoyed being your tour guide for the day...actually up here we call that CANADIAN HOSPITALITY!

Yes, Thank-you to GM for allowing us to go on this plant tour. It was fantastic! When I went through, I had a hard time finding a spot to sign my name on the huge posters!

On behalf of the Northwest Ohio Camaro Enthusiasts, I'd like to add our thanks to the organizers for a job well done.

A special thanks goes out to GM and all the workers at the Oshawa assembly plant, as well as the Martinrea employees. We cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the tours and your hospitality. Definitely plan to return next year for this fantastic event.

Can't wait to see the aerial photos taken for the world record!

What an outstanding event. I can't imagine the amount of planning necessary to pull this off. Holy Cow, the Mayor of Oshawa was a guest speaker!!

Thank you to all for making this event one that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Does anyone have a tally on the number of Camaro/Firebirds that "posed" for the bow tie photo?

Job well done! I'd drive 15 hours again to tour the plant. Thank you. Lori

Thanks everyone for your thank yous. I've said time and time again that while it is a lot of work planning an event like this we do it because we enjoy it. And the real "Thanks" goes to everyone that participated. We can plan a dinner, an auction or a show 'n shine, but we can't plan the experience and friendships that are made!

And while we have given thanks to many it is impossible to specifically thank everyone that contributed. However I don't think we have had a chance to thank CCFBG. Seeing Red Rider's post reminded me of this.

CCFBG is by far the best Ontario and area F-Body club. The people are great and the events and outings are fun. They are growing and I encourage anyone locally to check them out. They don't turn away non-members at their events, although for the $20 membership you get some nice extras. And while most here have Camaros, CCFBG is an "F-Body" club which means Camaros AND Firebirds. So they don't turn away the great Firebirds nor do they make "one-time" exceptions just to get larger attendance numbers . Also CCFBG was instrumental in planning BBOMG. From the guidence that Mark and Kelly provided in planning and contacts to the support of the members in coming and partying with us. Please extend your thank yous to all that helped plan the event including CCFBG and checkout their website. And yes this is a bit of a plug but those who know me know that I only support things I believe in and the thank you is genuine.

Thanks all!

Hey Scotty, The Thanks is Great and we appreciate the plug, Kelly & I met soo many great people and had fun just hanging out! As the BBOMG is event is slightly different then what we do, the foundation of the 2 are the same....the people are first! We were glad to be part of a great event with great people! I am just mad for not booking my room earlier and not staying with you guys .......I will know better in the future.

I am hoping to see many of you next June 1-3rd 2012 and add another great weekend to the calendar!

I know www.CCFBG.com seems like a regional forum but we Welcome anyone who wants to visit or come by often!

Thanks again and see some of you soon!

Mark
