How much should I expect to pay for shipping for a SS bumper?? is it going to be expensive? It will be from MS to DE! any ideas from those of you that have dealt with shipping bumpers bbefore.

I had a used Corvette bumper shipped from Miami to Cape Cod. The used parts dealer wrapped it thoroughly in bubble wrap and shipped it via Greyhound, yes as in bus. It took over a week, but arrived in great shape. I was not paying for the shipping but understand it is fairly cheap.

The dealer told me that Greyhound is the only safe alternative for large parts as the sorting machinery for the standard shippers, tend to "eat" large packages like bumpers.

Good luck.

what i saw in gmpartshouse website it will cost u around $140 to ship the ss bumper. idk maybe around that price. $50-$150 because the size is quite big and kinda heavy i think.

FedEx and UPS not only charge by weight, but by overall length plus girth. I have no idea what the weight of a SS front "bumper" fascia is, but I can imagine it isn't that light.

If it were me, I'd check my local salvage yard, if they don't have it, they can get it.

You might also consider eBay or Craigslist.

Here's one on eBay for $518 and that includes free shipping:
