PICS-GM 2011 ZR1 Wheels on 2011 Camaro SS

With the new Camaro5 I have always wondered about aftermarket wheels and what is the WIDEST wheel and tire combo you could fit. Not sure if anyone has tried before, however here is a few pics of my 2011 GM ZR1 Wheels fitted up nicely on our 2011 SS Camaro. The ONLY modification to the rear is a 1/4 in wheel spacer. That is it!
With the low profile of the tires the Camaro needs to be lowered a little more, however this camaro looks badazz with this wheel/tire combo!

Wheel Specs are:

REAR-GM 2011 ZR1 Wheels -20x12 in rear with 335-25-20 Michelin Pilot Sport Tires
FRONT-GM 2011 ZR1 Wheels-19x10.5in front with 285-30-19 Michelin Pilot Sport Tires

PICS:

Passenger side tire with stock wheel installed

Here is another pic of the wheels and tires side by side just to show the difference. The rears are real tight, however they fit.

Looks great! Any idea what the offsets are on those wheels? And were the rear spacers needed to give additional clearance between the spokes and the calipers, or to give more clearance in the inner wheel well?

The spacer was for the inner fender well. The wheels cleared the breaks and lower control arms just fine.

Here is a few more pics. The wheel and tire combo actually lowered the car a little, but needs a little more.

Wow those look great. These can be had on ebay as low as 1k new. How much of a drop do you think will be required from stock. Next question is how much are the tires? May just have to pick up a set of these...Gorgeous!

i tried some Z06 rears, 20x12, looked like they would need more than 1/4" spacer????

do you know the offset? or can measure it?

thanks

that 335/25-20 is more than 7% different in diameter than oem, front is more than 10% off. may cause some issues

i'd recommend 275/45-19 front and 315/35-20 for the rear, plus there are more tire choices.

it does look bad as hell though!!! love the look.

The diameter is quite a bit different than stock. I will have to see how it works out.

The wheels on Ebay are knock offs. The wheels I have are Genuine GM ZR1 Wheels. The rears new go for 900.00 each and the fronts go for 850.00 each plus there is a $200.00 core charge. The reason I say this is I am not sure what the spacing is on the knock offs.

Have you driven on these yet? My 335s stuck out about 1/4" and slightly rubbed on the inner fender, even at only 25.9" tall. But they were REALLY wide 335s.

Any straight edge pics like this?
