1le Short Throw

I'm looking online and I can't find many alternatives to the shifter for a 2013 1LE. What does everything think of the hurst shifter? or do you prefer the stock?

I love the stock one. Night and day compared to my neighbors stock '12 SS shifter.

Yes it was my 1st time there, and the feeling as you jump off this 3 story plunge is that you cant see anything on the right side of the car,but man is it fun.

The 1LE shifter is the short throw shifter from the ZL1. It is much improved over the hurst shifter. I believe the hurst shifter has been ditched and is not available on the regular SS anymore and has been replaced with the performance shifter option. The performance shifter is the 1LE/ZL1 shifter. From the factory that is the only shifter available on the 1LE.

The Aftermarket Hurst Billet Plus/2 shifter is different than the factory one. It's a 44% reduction in throw versus 22% in the factory one. As far as I know it's the only one that drastic. Pretty much all the others would be in the same range as the 1LE's.

Thanks for the info, I actually prefer a little throw so I would prefer the 1le over hurst I assume...I do like the idea of having a "hurst" but not if the 1LE is truly better.

The Hurst STS got sloppy real fast in my last car. The plastic bushing wore out real fast. A member here turned some better metal bushings that improved thing. The shifter on the 1LE is a GM product it feels like the throw is a tad longer but WAY more precise than the Hurst.
