New here, few questions

Hey guys, I have used a different forum in the past but with my new car I figured I would ask people with similar interests. My old car was a 1994 Mustang GT, had it for quite some time, got into a bad wreck, the woman who caused the wrecks insurance company gave me a good bit out of my mustang which led to the down payment on my 2011 Camaro.

Back story set aside I am looking for a new front bumper, some ---hole hit the side and got my front right part of my bumper and fender dinged up a bit while I was parked for work and didn't leave any information.... I had done some research before but now I can't seem to find it but I am looking for the SS Camaro from bumper that fits on the v6. Before you ask no I am not putting SS badges on it and trying to make it look like an SS without it being one, I just really like the front is all. I found somebody before who sold them on ebay but I cant seem to find it anymore. Anybody know what I am talking about?

Secondly I have been rather disappointed with the sound. I swapped out my old exhaust on my mustang for Flowmasters and it was amazing. With my new car I'm just not wanting to replace too much since its only 2 years old but down the line I will be more willing. Basically I want a much better sound just wondering if I will need to alter much with my new setup.

Any input is appreciated. Below I attached pictures if anybody is curious

Sound is so subjective. I'm happy with an axle back on my LS3. There's tons of videos on here so you can listen to the sound of each system, see what you like! But the mufflers on this thing are enormous, so just about anything you do will really improve the sound!

Welcome to the forum!
Just search eBay and put "Camaro SS front bumper" in the search. I did and got several selling them. Remember you will also need the lower grille.
I have The MRT V2 Axel Back exhaust, I love the sound once it seasoned in. I have also heard the Dynomax VT is a good choice for the V6.
I hope this helps here is a short clip of mine

As far as the front end, the SS fascia costs the same as the V6. I did it to mine before I switched cars.

For exhaust I have heard good things about MRT V2.

Congrats on the new permagrin maker & welcome aboard. Here is a link to a coupls of professionally done videos of V6 exhausts. The first one is mine. It is a Borla. It sounds great at start-up, on accelleration & at wot but is quiet at cruise & idle. The other one is somewhat more aggressive. Listen with headphones to get the best idea. Good luck deciding.

What website did you get it from?

See my mods listed below (color coded).

MR2 w/ Magnaflow X pipe is the way to go.

A CAI will help wake up the motor and sound as well.

Think im sold on the MRT v2, I heard with axel back there is more cutting involved but it is cheaper, will it affect anything if i get the axel back then later down the road get x pipes or should i try to get it all at once?

My LS was in an accident. Front Fascia had to be replaced. I just had them add the SS fascia instead of the 2LS fascia when it was in the shop.

It's up to you, I don't think you really have to get them at the same time. I didn't get one but mine is a convertible and it won't fit without modifying the convertibles underbody bracing. Since you have a coupe that is not an issue.

I agree with KaBoom! I have the above set up with the resonators deleted along with 4" tips, and added with the Vararam CAI... let me tell you it sure woke my girl up, and she sounds amazing! Congrats on your new ride!

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
