Someone already has put an LS7 in a Camaro. Will it go production, I don't know. I will find the artical on it and post it.

I can't find the article...wow, was I just dreaming when I saw it. I could have swore I saw a Corvette LS7 in a Camaro...omg, I remember the engine cover on it was RED...oh, i have to find it.

Yes it is true and yes, they already are putting them in

The 6-speed manual SS Camaros get the LS3 engine..same engine in the regular Vette. Where have ya been?

If you mean LS7 or LS9...highly improbable from the factory. If you mean the LS3...it is the same motor as in the Vette...just a loss of 4 horsepower from the different exhaust and intake routing I'm sure. If the Vette with the NPP exhaust picks up 6 horsepower, then I'm guessing a set of straight pipes to eliminate the mufflers on the Camaro would do about the same.

I just wish there was a way to plumb in the Vette's NPP mufflers...nice to have quiet when cruising, but when our car's mufflers open up at WOT, it is amazingly loud!

Standard Corvette engine is the LS3 rated at 430 horsepower. I just saw that on a Corvette window sticker.

Ok, I was mistaken, it was an LS9 that was put in the Camaro...Here, read the article:

thought the LS3 was in the plain stock vette and LS7 was Z06 and LS9 was the new ZR1 Vette? I may be wrong but would like to know for sure if anyone has the awnser.

You are correct on your Corvette models...but the LS3 also goes in the Camaro manual trans cars.
