What Is The Factory Fill Oil On Euro-Spec Camaros?
Or is it a country thing, meaning differing oil fill specifications from one member state to the other?
I'm asking because I've heard a few times, that 0W-40 is recommended as fill for Euro-market Vettes..... I'm just curious and want closure on this. |

This is an interesting topic.
US is Mobil 1 5W30. But in Europe, what can legally be defined as a full synthetic is different than in the US. I'm pretty sure that what Mobil is passing off as a full synthetic here would not fly in the EU

Taken from the United Kingdom Chevrolet website.
http://www.chevrolet.co.uk/pdf/manua...01_2_en_GB.pdf Check page 10-9 to see recommended oil. 5W30 same as the USA France has the same manual stating 5W30. Fill with 5W30 but high quality oils such as Amsoil or Joe Gibbs
