Hot Wheels edition owners: why did you buy it?
Just curious who bought these cars because they are toy collectors and like the Hot Wheels logos and theme of the car, and who bought them because of the limited edition Kinetic Blue paint.

It's a 1:1 scale Hot Wheel that YOU CAN DRIVE....doesn't get much cooler than that in my opinion
This is my fourth blue Camaro, so I'm kind of partial to the blues, especially the lighter shades....before my HW I had a 2010 ABM SS with the white stripes and retro SS emblems just like in joeybsyc's sig.

Went to my past salesman and told him I was interested in the Kinetic Blue Metallic Camaro I saw on Google.
I was given 30 minutes to order if serious. My order replaced their allocation of 1 that had been approved the day before. Got my Camaro within 50 days.

I don't have a hot wheels, just the ABM. But I could understand that people would want it if they couldn't get ABM color too, since it was only available for 2010. If I couldn't have gotten my color car, I would have gone for the hot wheels. the color is very similar.
But I mean come on how cool is a Hot Wheels car, thats just awesome!

I loved playing with Hot Wheels as a kid (yes, when they originally came out in 1968). And now I'm playing with a real 1:1 scale Hot Wheels Camaro as an adult. AWESOME FUN! Love the blue! But I'm pretty sure I won't repaint this one with magic markers or forget where I buried it in the sand at the beach.

I guess my next question would be, if the Hot Wheels package was available on any of the regular production 2013 colors INSTEAD of being Kinetic Blue, would you still have ordered the package?

....I just wan't to say that the whole package comes together with the colors used between the paint scheme and the trim. It's a sharp piece.

The price and the fact that you couldn't get it on a 1LE kept me from getting one. I've been lucky enough to catch a quick glance of one in person and they look amazing. I don't think I've heard any serious negative comments about the color.

I like everything about the car. The bonus with this car is how people react to it. Seeing kids and adults eyes light up with seeing a real life Hot Wheels is a lot of fun. I have had people want to just sit in the car and get a picture so that they can show their family/friends that they were in a real Hot Wheels!
