help

how do you remove the ss engine cover??? i know how to take the strut off and lift up on the cover but the oil cap thing i have no clue how to take off it looks almost like a catch can or sometihng

Remove your oil cap (catch can thing) by pressing the grey button on the plastic hose connected to the catch can. It's a quick release. Then twist the can like you would an oil cap. push the engine cover up in the front and carefully pull out.

i got it lol i was just confused, i thought it had a regular oil cap but i guess the 1le comes with some kind of oil pvc seperator thing

Just saw your other post. Congrats on the new car from a fellow 13 2SS/RS ashen grey owner (although the gas station pic looks almost Blue Ray Metallic). You'll love this car. Mine has all options except sunroof(which is great as I love the styling of the roof). Only Recaros were unavailable in 13 as an option. I bought a set of Recaros for mine a couple months ago. If you ever consider getting them, just do it. You won't regret it

Expect to spend $2k - $2,500 for a good, clean set. Anything more is not worth it in my opinion.

Be careful to pop the front and then slide the cover forward. The cover on my 2010, the previous owner had snapped off the keeper tab at the back trying to just lift upward..
