What LT's should I get?

Right now I have an Airaid CAI and muffler delete axle backs on my Camaro. My next project is going to be LT's with a tune. I'm looking at getting some long tube headers from Texas Speed and Performance. The price for their LTs that come with high flow cats seems reasonable. Has anyone else gone with these before and are they good quality? Thanks in advance!

The slightly longer ones, can't remember what brad is the most awesomest ones though. A search may help you find that one.

I bought myself a pair of $1,100.00 Stainless coated Kooks headers from Maryland speed, I couldn't be happier with them.

That being said, if I could do it all over again, I would've went a cheaper route with TSP or Stainless or even OBX.

Why? Because we're not reinventing the wheel here, it's a bunch of welded metal pipes together. All of them use the same grade of steel. If you want a better peace of mind, you could always get them coated like mine which reduces internal temps by a good amount but only really useful if you're doing a lot of tracking with your car or if you deal with hot summers like the South. I had mine jetcoated and I love it.

Let me put things into perspective here.

There are two mods here that you can ask 10 different people, and get 10 different responses.

Those would happen to be the two most common and safest mods.

Cold Air Intakes
and Long Tube Headers

There's just such little room for error with either mod that there really isn't much room for debate other than personal preference.

Aw come on! You're forgetting about catch cans (yes/no) and cams!

For my part I went with Kooks coated with HF cats, but I waited till black Friday and got a substantial discount. Also, if you don't have a local speed shop you trust Jannetty does a great job with their mail order tunes.

2" primary 3" the rest of the way, whatever you can make this happen with.

2" primary IS worth it.

I used a cheap set of Manzo's off ebay they fit good for 2 years while i used them and are 2" primary x 3" exhaust.

Just make sure you use the oem gaskets or you WILL be redoing them sooner or later.

I agree. Mine are coming in today along with the Stainless Works chambered exhaust and going to be installed this weekend. Dynosteve gave me a great deal on the full exhaust and programmer.
