New Rims

I just installed new 20 inch rims on my 2014 camaro, they are 20x10 all around and the are setting off five lights on the dash. What's should I do, would a 20x8.5 rim fix that? Help

245/45/20=28.7 height
275/40/20=28.7 height

Did you install the tire sensors and get an alignment? I’m quite sure someone here can help you figure this out. I thought if your tire goes beyond .3 height difference front to rear is when you run into issues but the tire calculator data was the same.

What lights are being set off? Your information is vague.

So lots of guys are running 295 front and 315 rear. With a .6 height difference. Does that cause a problem? I never came across a thread about it

I agree. What are the "five lights" that are being set off? You should be ok with that wheel size unless a sensor or something got damaged during the wheel installation.

First, as others have asked, what are the "five lights"?

Secondly, when swapping wheels and tires, do it right and buy the correct sizes. If you don't have the money to do both, there are obviously more important things in life that need to be tended to. The stock RS wheels are 8" front and 9" rear. It appears to me that you took your stock tires and put them on the wider wheels. The 275's are ok, but stretching a 245 onto a 10" wheel is not smart! With that being said, I still don't see what would cause the car to panic. Get back to us with more info. Good luck!

Sounds like the TPMS sensors weren't installed.

Those front tires are WAY too narrow for a 10" wide wheel.

I hate seeing stretched tires almost as much as I hate the usually associated extreme negative camber

A 275 would certainly be better than a 245, but it is still NOT ideal. I ran 20x9 wheels on all four corners of my SS with 285/35/20 GY Eagle Supercar G2's.
