Best spark plugs?
Once I’ve done LTH, CAI, muffler delete, and upgrade spark plug wires, are there better spark plugs than OEM that I should put on before I have the car tuned? I don’t have any other engine mods yet...

Put a fresh set of factory plugs in it. Wires are negotiable, I wouldn’t waste the money for them. I relocated my coils and had to make custom lengths is why I changed mine

A buddy of mine builds plug wires, so they won’t cost me anything...

Unfortunately, I go back to the days of leaded gas and having to change plugs every 3000 miles. I carried that practice over up to the 1990’s when it started becoming obvious that there was NOTHING wrong with spark plugs even up to 100,000 miles. Am just asking, why does anyone change their plugs on these cars?

I did mine at 30,000 miles but the only reason I did was I was putting long tube headers on. They are really easy to do on these cars so if you want to go for it it won't hurt anything.

AC Delco is really a good plug. There's no reason for me to try a different brand.

NGK TR5 for basic bolt ons stock replacement and NGK TR6 for cars making decent power. The TR 6 helps with knock retard. Wires are actually a sore subject for most. I use Firecore
