TPMS light and top speed question

I will borrow a set of 6th Gen SS 1 lE wheels and put on my 5th gen ZL1 to do to the track and run.

If the TPMS light is on will it effect performance in any way?

Reason I ask is track guys with Vettes have issues if the TPMS light is on.

None it just tells you what the pressure is. I have the original z rims on track tires for track days and I don’t bother resetting the TPMS so when I get home and replace the tires they other set is ready to go.

But if you need to see the pressure on the DIC the reset tool is under a 100 bucks which I have I am just lazy.
